Composite material

A composite material is made of  two or more different types of material, which are joined together. The features of the composite material differ from those of its individual components.

The characteristic features of the composite material are determined by material-related features and the geometry of the components.  Unequal portions of materials are very often of particular importance in this context.

Challenge

It is the tool manufacturer’s challenge now to design an optimal tool for both or all components involved.  This requires precise knowledge of the material features, used as a basis for setting the machine parameters.

Tool

Our application engineers elaborate individually adjusted tooling concepts for processing composite materials, geared to individual fields of application. This is true for circular sawblades as well as cutters – together with you, we design the optimal tool for your requirements, too.
