Furniture Production

„Furniture Production“ is nowadays generally regarded as the industrial production of the carcass.
The spectrum of furniture production does, however, comprise a much wider range:

Furniture can be produced in a number of different ways:

  • Manually and in the traditional way
  • Computer based
  • With multilateral planers
  • With edge banders and panel sizing machines
  • On through-feed lines

There is, moreover, a great variety of applied types of material:

  • All types of solid wood
  • Wood-based material ranging from lumber-core plywood to particle board and MDF
  • All types of coatings and veneers
  • Composite material such as, for example, aluminium or stainless steel.
  • Plastic material such as, for example, Corian, Noblan etc. as well as HPL, Trespa and a lot more

New production procedures are always also a challenge for the tools’ supplier, e.g.:

  • Nesting
  • New Postforming on edge banders
  • Planing profiled ledges at high feed rates

For solid wood processing it is, for example, of particular importance to ensure the continuous availability of moulding tools for all applied machines so that all individual parts – even if produced on different machines - will have  exactly the same profile.

AKE is facing all these demands and challenges by keeping innovative solutions ready, always on the basis of economically well-balanced solutions for the customer..
